Well after months and months of advising everyone to do their Credit file clean up, I have started mine!!! sFun_thewave.gif

Good job too.....those cheeky peekys have got most of it wrong!!

Anyways I sent of for my Certificate of Discharge and I'm slightly disappointed its not like a certificate you can put on the wall, you know like with swimming etc!!:rotfl:

Its a A4 piece of paper saying when I was discharged and a county court stamp!!

Because of illness I have not had to pay the £70 so that's why I sent off for it.

My OR wouldn't send me a letter, they said they have stopped this now as they say people are using their address heading and writing the letter themselves!!

Anyone had their OR letter not accepted by creditors/DCA's as proof of dicharge??

If...x

    I know. :rotfl:

    A most disappointing document.

Especially if you paid the £70.

Good for you If, be a while before I can start mine but got my 'during BR' reports last month and most are still showing defaults as several years ago. So hopefully will be able to leave them be to drop off in a couple of years, will see if any of them update post BR.

Bit confused on your last question about OR's letter as you have a discharge cert so it won't matter to you...? Or is that in relation to the errr, potential forgeries?

I rang my OR first for a letter and that is what my OR said re forgeries!! I did print off copies from this IS Site. But then I sent for the Certificate (because it was free tbh!!)
