Large Hardback Slow Cooking recipe book reduced from £24.99 to £4.99 in Borders

Dont know if there'll be available in every store but in walking to the checkout yesterday I came across a very large and hardback book by Joanne Glynn for only £4.99.

It has 240 pages in it, some very good recipes both simple and elegant meals. It would make a great birthday or xmas present although Im keeping it for myself as I love my slow cooker. I might even get round to typing up some recipes on the OS thread. There must be over 100 recipes in this book.

Meals include:
Chilli beef with capsicum, coriander and avocado.
Poulet au pot.
Navarin of Lamb.
spanish duck with smoked paprika, pears and almonds.
Irish Stew.
Slow Roasted beef with beets and horseradish cream.
Bouef bourguignon.

It also has a selection of sides, appetisers and puddings. Each meal is represented by a full size colour picture.

PS Borders is a very large book shop sometimes with a Starbucks inside. Are often found on retail parks. There is one in Warringotn, Cheshire Oaks, Stockport. These are ones I know of.

I use the coq-o-vin and chicken chausser packet mixes with my chicken breasts, just make up the sauce and slowly bringing to the boil before adding to the SC.

Ordered one of these, popped it in a pan for at least 8 hours.... turned to mush and tasted awful
