Hi, Newbie here. Anyone know if there is an area for Motorhome Ins. comments/posts/threads on this site. I can't seem to find any
I've had wide ranging quotes from various companies, so I was hoping for some possible answers on here from like-minded Motorhomers.

Have you tried Safeguard, discounts for club membership & free AA cover (European). I've been with them for 5 years, occasionally found a bit cheaper but with no Xtras & limited milage policies. If you find anything better would always be intereted in hearing so."Didn't I try to Warn them I said !"

Hi Pioneer, Tried quite a few. My renewal is with MCIA (NIG) quoting £233, up £10 on last year. Which isn't bad, but I also tried Saga, same cover etc. for £172.46, but before I could snatch their hand off, I had to ring them, because of an SP30 (2003) (Motorcycle) to declare it. This sent the premium up to £240 plus, Out of all the ins companies I've tried, Saga is the only one to penalise for having 3 points, & that applies for 5 yrs.
On another M/home forum, I was directed to NUF. They wanted over £400.
It really is, swings & roundabouts.
I think MCIA gets it again, until my "points" are wiped.:mad:0
