Can any cleaners out there tell me what I would be better doing IE hourly rate or asking for a sum of money for a job. To explain although I am a cleaner (office) as an employee. I have a chance of cleaning a house or two. after workmen have vacated it. Of course I won't know what it will be like, they might be very neat OR!!!. So any help
Thanks

I would ring other cleaners and ask what they would charge for the job. Obviously, you would tell them you want your home cleaning after builders, and want to know if they charge by the hour or by the job.
I think customers would prefer a price for the job, if they pay by the hour you might work slow and stretch it out as long as possible.
You may prefer to be paid by the hour, as the job may take a lot longer than you thought it would.0 -
I used to get £10 an hour for builders cleans and they would usually take a full day to get right, don't under price yourself as they can be a nightmare to do and take longer than they initially look
