Advice re credit cards

Hi, I am posting this on behalf of a girl-friend who has currently run up £30,000 of credit card debt - these have now been sold onto debt collection agencies. She asked the question - if the debt collection agencies would go through the hassle of making her bankrupt ? (as this would save her the fees of doing it herself. ) Also would they send bailiffs around to the house ?
She is married to a multi-millionaire who refuses to help her out , the house is in his company name as is the vehicle she uses. She has a live in au pair and cleaners which are all paid for by her husband. He gives her £550 per week for housekeeping which must be spent on this only. The contents of the house have been bought by him so technically she doesn't own anything.
If she did go bankrupt how would the OR view this as husband will automatically stop her housekeeping money ? She's spent the money on maintaining ' her lifestyle ' ....
Honestly this isn't a wind-up and any sensible advice would be appreciated. She's already consulted the debt charities.
Many thanks .....
