plus you get 1.50% cashback - better than a punch on the nose! ;D Rpoints also do cashback but only 1%

(to get the cashback you have to create a new order - so if you;ve already got it in your basket you've got to clear it first.)

GimmeGimme's idea of cashback is much better than coupon.

When I bought my dell laptop not so long ago, they had a rebate promotion which I had to mail in to get the rebate, and dell made it ever so difficult and it took a long time too. :-/

Those are pretty much the specs I want, and that's a great price. I can't go to any sort of checkout from there though.

Edit - Nevermind, managed to find it. Found a different one for £1100 that I'm definitely interested. Leaves me wondering why everyone just doesn't go through the outlet store.

So the catch was that once VAT is added, literally at the very end of the checkout process.

So I think I'm going to phone them tomorrow, anyone got any experience with haggling them over the phone? Or getting any sort of discount when talking to their sales people?

Paying £1311 for the laptop I want after VAT seems a little excessive. I was happy with the £1116 when I thought that that was the price I was gonna pay. Reckon there's any chance they'll do it at that price?
