Welcome Gemma!
I'm getting married on the same day as you, and so far I've sorted:
venues
humanist celebrant
appointment booked to give notice with registrar
photographer
design of mine and maid of honour's dresses
colour scheme and flowers
Other than that, lots of ideas and contacts to follow up, but not much else!
There are To Do lists all over the place if you google, and they're useful to make sure that you haven't missed something important, but it's more important to write your own list based on what's important to you and the wedding you plan to have. So if you're DIY-ing loads of stuff it's useful to start that early, or if you have your heart set on an amazing band then find and book them before the 'official' lists advise you to, to ensure that the good ones aren't booked up!
Oh, and please join us on the Sep 2012 thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3005000
