Help cleaning up credit file

I went bankrupt on 6/2/2007 and discharged 6/2/2008. On reviewing my credit file, I have noticed a couple of accounts not showing as settled. I have read the procedures to go through requesting a clean up from the relevant company(ies) but am curious to know if there is any reason for these 2 accounts not showing as settled.
My main concern is could I have omitted to put them down on my petition? I was under huge stress at that time and am doubting myself and my abilities back then. These debt were all before my bankruptcy and should have been listed.
Is there a way to get a copy of my bankruptcy petition? I just want to sort all this out and any info would be great.

These should tell you everything you need to know.0 -
Jason, it doesn't matter if the debts are on your petition or not, if they were incurred before your BR and are provable ie not magistrates fines or student loans then they are included whether you listed them or not. Some companies just take the michael and you need to go through the clean up procedure just to get them to play ball.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

I didnt know this. I did think the companies that buy these debts try it on. Thanks for your help. I will be sorting it all out now once and for all. I have had a perfect credit history since my bankruptcy so want to try get my file to reflect this.0 -
I'm surprised, did you not keep a copy of your BR forms to have in front of you during your OR interview? Most Courts ensure that's the case by informing the BR how many copies they need, including one to keep.
Good luck with the clean up though. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN
