Tesco - no more eCoupons?

Just had my internet coupons rejected at Tesco Metro. >:(

Manager said the Head Office policy was changed last week - only original manufacturer's coupons would be accepted. >:(

So I have to accept the £20 I saved yesterday on a £26 shop as my last hurrah (at that particular Tesco anyway!)

Has anyone else found this new policy hitting the streets near them??

Tesco at Brooklands Weybridge have never accepted internet coupons but have always been very good at taking manufacturer produced coupons, don't know if this policy has changed too now?

Yes I had this problem last night in Tescos. They have been taking internet coupons OK for the last couple of months.

The cashier I go to regularly told me that "for the time being" they were only taking coupons for things you actually buy (not only internet coupons rejected)

I used internet coupons at Tesco last night and they were accepted no problem.

I used one in Tesco Stirling today, but the cashier wasn't very keen on taking it.

I went back into Tescos again tonight and when I presented some vouchers the cashier would only let me use one voucher. I queried this and was told that they were now accepting only one coupon if you did not purchase the item the coupon referred to. I wonder if this a national directive?

I used regular manufacturer coupons in the Borooklands Weybridge store last night & he took them all without question, around £8 worth

I e mailed Asda weeks ago, to see what their policy is before i go to my local Asda armed with a few internet coupons but have heard nothing.

Asda in Norwich accepted a couple of Kettle chips interent coupons and a few other money off ones no probs - they're policy is 10% of the value of your shopping is allowed in coupons.
