Hairdresser in Gloucestershire (Stroud/Tetbury) -recommendations please

Hey All,

I'm onto that part of my 'to-do(om)' list which says 'find a hairdresser'.
The venue only recommends one, who is pretty pricy, so I was hoping for a little MSE help.

I need a hairdresser who will come to us on the morning of the wedding - near Tetbury, Gloucestershire. Anyone based in Stroud/Cirencester/Bristol kind of area would work.

I'd love some recommendations, as I don't live in the area, so can only judge by websites/recommendations! I want someone who can do classic styles (no one too avant-garde).

Hiya,
I used to live in Stroud so I can recommend Maxine Thompson of Cotswold Brides! She is based near Stroud but will travel. She is also a make-up artist too, so you could kill 2 birds with one stone! Have a look at Cotswold Brides on Facebook, there's plenty of pics. She is a fabulous lady. I think she gets booked up, so make some enquires!

Thanks Bob Cat - have looked at her website - but BLIMEY she's expensive! I thought the £90 I'd been quoted elsewhere to do my hair on the day was mad, until I saw her £120...

I've used Brookes Hair and Beauty in Minchinhampton - just down the road from Tetbury. Have a google.

I've not had the pleasure of being a bride myself yet but I strongly recommend Stuart Holmes hair salon in Cheltenham. It's not very MSE but I think every bride deserves to feel like a princess on their big day and I always come out of there feeling like a celebrity! They're amazing! :j
