Wide Leg Boots

Ok 'Ladies Who Love to Shop' I set you a challenge!

I hate shopping, the people just get in my way and i end up all wound up so i avoid it :(

From years of swimming i have massive calf muscles and need wide leg boots... usually evans extra wide are good.

Can you all help me find the boots of my dreams for winter? The criteria is:
* Black, Knee High, Wide Legs
* Smart enough to wear to work with a skirt
* Flat or max 3/4 inch heel (I'm tall!)
* under £60

I have seen some nice 'riding boots' on evans website but they arent very ladylike so just wondered if anybody else had seen any more?

Thanks x

Next do a great selection of wide fittings, most of the shoes and boots come in both normal and wider fit.

Get your backside down to the High Street - there are loads of boots with adjustable calvesin this season - I saw them yesterday when I was boot shopping with my DD - she hates buckles but wants knee high boots - so the current fashion for adjustable boots is not to her liking, lol :)

  • Have you got a shoe zone near you? I bought some wide leg from there a while ago and they have no problem going over my chunky calves!

    Duo. http://www.duoboots.com/

Do mail order (measure your legs as instructed) or they have shops.

    Expensive though.

I bought boots from Duo boots because most boots in the shops are like wellies on me.

I went into the London store, they measure you, then you try on the styles you like and they post you the boots. I love the boots I got from them.

I did order another pair off the internet site but didnt like them so much. So next time I will go back to the store.

I bought these last week and they are really comfy, they only cost £19.50 as well so a bargain. They have them in brown and black so you could get 2 pairs and still be under budget LOL

i buy duo boots. they are the only ones that fit me. my calves are 48cm, wider than the widest ones by marisota and simply be

they are excellent quality but very expensive

i cant get them to fit anywwhere else

what i cant understand is knowing that women are getting bigger and bigger, they never give measurements for the calf width on boots and its only in the last couple of years that even simply be or marisota have given the measurements for the extra wide boots. up to then they just had

    standard
    wide
    extra wide
    ultra extra wide

well without knowing the measurements these words are meaningless
