    Hi,

    How exciting & congratulations.

I sure there was a lady who got married in Barbados on here but can't remember where. If the reviews are on trip advisor etc it's always a good indication.

I can't help with Barbados but can with Rhodes, but they are worlds apart.

    Enjoy the planning.

I cant help with the wedding side of things at that hotel...but can tell you about the hotel and the area thats its in ...I was due to stay there last christmas due to a change of plan but stayed a little further up on the west coast in the end...where it is a bit quieter...stayed at waves in st james and can say that it was superb...probably strange to say..but very similar yet very different to seabreezes if that makes sense...

The hotel is in the south of the island and its probably quite lively in that area...its a medium sized hotel that has beachfront..which can get very hot and quite exposed at times..so if you wanted a beach wedding there I would perhaps say that a late afternoon one would be a little cooler....there is also the optin of a garden wedding but again talk it through with the wedding co ordinator as it can be very hot at midday especially if you are wearing a big dress

If you intend to book this hotel I would suggest that you go for the upgraded all inclusive package as it offers the better dining and room options...as some room choices will not allow you access to certain areas of the hotel

I attended a wedding several years ago in barbados...not at that hotel but one on the west coast and it is a lovely place to get married...each hotel has its own wedding co ordinator and different packages for you to choose...ive holidayed in barbados many times and usually whilst we are there, there will be at least one or even 2 weddings...although they dont come across as "conveyor belt " in any way and you will probably find that if you choose your wedding there...you will be the only wedding couple that day...

    Good luck
I'm sure you'll have an amazing wedding, just check the weather for the time of year you're wanting. We looked into Barbados & no e of the travel agents (cept one!) told us it was hurricane season!!
We chose Mauritius in the end and it was fabulous!

Abroad weddings ARE THE FUTURE lol!!! X
