I wanna learn to touch type

Anybody know of any good sites to learn how to touch type?

    You could try your local library. The one I work in has a CD Rom which you can borrow free of charge which tells you how to touch type and gives exercises to follow.
    I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    You could of course learn by just typing a lot. I am touch typing at the moment it might not be the "correct" way to do it but I have just learnt from doing a lot of typing.

    I taught myself to touch type many years ago by spending £10 on a Mavis Beacon disc. Best £10 ever spent!

    Yes I second Mavis Beacon, she's the one who really improved my plodding typing skills.

    You should be able to pick up a cheap copy on Ebay.
    The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

    I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
  • Mavis Beacon taught my daughter to touch type and she didn't even know she was doing it till I watched her on messenger one evening - I could not believe what I was seeing, she was typing as fast as me and I was trained properly!!
