We're moving house, we've a few odds and ends to fix up in our rented house here. The LL wrote us such a lovely referall, I really would like to do my best to fix these few things.
Despite my nagging and warning DD put a hot drink down on the dresser/wardrobe unit thats built into her bedroom. I'm not exactly sure of the finish. It's a dark mahogany coloured formica? mdf? definitely not wood surface anyways. The cup left a white mark behind - does anyone know an magic solutions?

No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

You can buy furniture "crayons" which you just use over the stained part and then rub over with a soft, dry cloth. Might be worth a try.

That wont work as it's not real wood but formica, any wax will just rub off.
I can think of anythink that will work on a darker formica apart from replacment, I have had many years of mending damaged surfaces and dark formica is one of the most difficult.0
