Thinking of doinf one for hubbie for Christmas instead of the toiletry sets you buy (And only end up using half of!)
My query is what would you use as the hamper for toiletries?
Im doing a night in one witha black box from poundland and going to put inmages of clapper boards on it but want something original for the otehr.
Any ideas welcome

You could use a wicker basket that he can use to keep them in or a large toiletry bag:santa2: :rudolf:

I think the basket is a good idea as is the toilet bag. Either would be a super pressie. You have given me an idea for my boys. Must check poundland out for boxes.
Also if you are looking for cellophane to gift wrap them ask at your local florist and they will sell you a metre for about £1. I done this recently with a bouquet of flowers as a very special thank you gift. Bought the flowers at local market, white lillies, etc cost £12 and then the cellophane. If I had have went to a florist it would have cost me at least twice as much."You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"

It depends, if they would re-use a basket then I would buy one from a carboot sale (there are often great finds there) with a lick of paint and a lining it would look great. However if they have a small house and have not alot of space, or they would not re-use a basket, I would get a cheap cardboard box and cover it wth some nice paper. Cheap and effective either way.Comping wishlist for 2017

thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately he has loads of toiletry bags so tahst a no go and I seem to have a stack of wicker baskets kicking round
Think lidded boxes would be more practical saw some in B&M today but all very girly so will just have to keep and eye out.0 -

Perhaps an old shoe box would be suitable. Sometimes the shoe shops will give you one if you ask. You could cover it with Christmas paper.0
