I have my Save the Date cards

Not really a post as such... But I'm very excited as I have just been presented with my Save the Date cards from my colleague. (She has been busy making them over the last few weeks).

Very excited - they are all wrapped up in a box with a lovely ribbon round. And I am trying to resist opening them at work. Want to do it with the OH later (not that he'll understand why :rotfl:).

Feel very grown up now and the wedding seems so real. Panic panic:eek:

Fab i wont be sending them out but am making some for a friend of mine along with her invites etc

know it doesn't mean much to anyone else really - but exciting for me. And this means that OH will have to properly give me his list now. :rotfl:

Congratulations! We were very excited about our save the date cards so I know how you feel! They're not really necessary (when I first mentioned the idea, OH said 'but I have free text messaging':rotfl:) but it makes it seem more real!

He he ... My OH couldn't understand the need either. But I persuaded him.:rotfl:As you obviously have too.

I waited last night and opened them with the OH - they are lovely:T So happy. was only allowed to get a couple out though.

Just want to send them now...OH just needs to provide me with a proper list. (ummm maybe thats another reason he wasn't keen on the idea. :rotfl:)

Yes been there, I got a proper list, ordered the invites as they have everyone names in already because they are passports & 2 weeks later he said I need more invites, i've forgotten some people:mad: So had to get extra ones - Men :rotfl:

The list I currently have for my OH's lot has come from his sister. I can sort most things for this wedding myself (with my trusty team - bridesmaids, mum etc), but can't magic up his guest list for him. :rotfl:

Might have to sit hom down with a beer at the weekend and get a list .... or else!!
