Hello,
I was hoping for a little help and even a little hope,
things for us are hard at the moment and everyone is pretty much in the same boat but I was wondering,
after starting to enter this competitions how long did it take some of you to win on the competitions? and how many were you entering a day ?
Thank you so much for any insight or hope you can give me

How many I enter depends on how busy my work is :rotfl:
I maybe do about 5-10 a day from here, maybe 5 a day on facebook. Im definately in the 'low' side of comping compared to some on here!
Think it took me a few weeks to get my first win, most of mine are from facebook though. I would guess I win maybe one thing a week on average.
The thing with comping is, that it really is something you should do for fun, rather than for 'the win', iykwim? People seem to get rather disappointed that they haven't won an Ipad2 or a holiday to the Bahamas after comping for a week!
Do it as often as you can, and enjoy any wins you get
xCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
i enter about 50 or so a day and usually get 2 or 3 wins a month - but these are often things like books, make-up or perfume samples so only worth a few quid each - you won't pay for christmas by compinrgproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

Thanks
Its not so much paying for xmas but that kind of little pick me up when the postman rings
Will keep at it as im not keen on Ipad2 , but make up would definitely always make me a happy lil bunnyThoughts become things0 -
If you expect to win sadly most of the time you will be disappointed. The comps for big wins are always more popular. You could enter one comp and win or you could enter hundreds and not win. There is no way of saying.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

It took me 6 weeks to get my first win, but some people aren't waiting that long at all!
I sort the posts into order of date and just work my way through the list of comps ending the next day! Sometimes i only enter a few cos i don't have time, but sometimes i manage to get through the whole list! I sit and do it in the evening once my son is in bed cos i can't just sit and watch TV, i like to be doing something aswell. I do quite well out of it, i have a few christmas presents hidden away upstairs for my son, and have won alot of stuff for myself too like dvds, blu-ray player, skincare stuff, a hamper .....
Once you get that first win you will be addicted!:starmod: May all your wishes come true! :starmod:0 -
It's all down to luck and there's no saying when you'll win but the more draws you enter the beter your chances are.
I've been comping for about 3 weeks and I was lucky enough to win an Ipad2 in the first week then 3 other prizes after that, my friend started comping at the same time and hasn't won anything yet (she enters about 20 comps per day). I enter a couple of hundred a day because I needed something to do after stopping my world of warcraft account.0 -
it took me 12 days to get my first win , it was only a dvd but i was still excited , i enter about 50 a day for allsorts of thingsback from a comping break , good luck to all and me :j0

The first thing to remember is that it is down to luck. You can't expect to win anything and we all have 'dry spells'. Some people enter 1000's with out a single win....others win after entering only a few hundred.
I enter anywhere between 50 - 150 a day (depending on how busy I am). During the school holidays I was easily entering over 150 comps a day (hence why I have so many September wins). I have been comping for years and can say that the more comps you enter the more chance you have of winning. I win on average a couple prizes a week (mostly small wins). I probably get less than 10 'bigger' (over £100) wins a year.
The delivery time of prizes also varies. Some promoters send the prize out next day - others can take months. I received a 'congratulations' winning email last week, for a competition that ended in July. I've not received the prize yet.
Comping is best seen as a fun hobby - with the occasional reward!:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0
