Long grey socks - where?

Ok guys, where can I get cheap grey long socks for a boy please? I was horrified at the prices on ebay and the shops don't seem to have them, M&S do but they are EIGHT quid a pack, what? lol, they're socks not a coat. Eight quid indeed.

So, I just need one pair as he has to dress as a 1940's school boy, shorts and all (it's October...) for a school trip.

We had the same issue - needed them for a WW2 costume for school - only place I found them was Sainsburys - £4 for 3 pairs!

Have you tried Primark? They'll likely be for girls but socks are socks! Cheap too.
