Good Luck cos I received nothing. I joined cow and gate etc and they said you would get a free toy, got nada! All i got, and continue to get, is junk mail through my door! Same with the bounty packs - you get next to nothing in those but will be inundadted with junk mail for the rest of your days - I know this is true because of the name I used.
You will get the best things when you give birth you come out with a carrier bag full of freebies!1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.000 -

My baby is now nearly 6 months... In summary best places I found for free stuff/on going discounts are:
Boots Parenting Club (got a voucher for black nappy change bag with purchase of nappies and more recently a weaning kit when you bought cow and gate food, had other money off vouchers too, and also 10 points on your advantage card for every £1 spent)
Asda Baby Club (got voucher for free new born starter set including nappies, wipes, hat and money off vouchers for more)
Cow & Gate, Heinz, Hipp Organic, Ellas Kitchen, Pampers & Huggies send the occasional money off coupons
I never heard anything from Aptimil (when emailed to find out why they sent me a cow & gate cow instead - apparently they are the same group). Phillips Avent only sent me two breast pads. Emmas Diary pick up bags of mostly rubbish from Argos and then spammed me with phone calls since to change my energy suppliers. Bounty packs were a little bit better but still contained some random bits. Believe Tescos has a club but we don't have any local stores.
Hope that helps0 -
I must have been lucky, compared to some posters on here!
Asda Huggies baby box is brilliant (google it as I can't remember link sorry!)- you get newborn nappies, pack of wipes, wee hat & best of all 3 vouchers on the inside of the box: £1 off wipes (currently they are £1 in Boots), £2 off Little Swimmers (get single pack for 78p from a big supermarket....) and £2 off Newborn nappies (the same boxes are currently £2.50 in Boots so use them to get another box for 50p). This should set you up in nappies and wipes for the first month or so.
Agree about Emmas Diary & Bounty - very spammy.
Hipp Organic and Ella's Kitchen send vouchers for free jars/packets for when your wee one is weaning.
Join Tesco Baby club if you have a clubcard, they send extra vouchers/points.
Head on over to the vouchers thread as there are often baby vouchers on the first page - but make sure you read the first page as there is a lot of information!

If you sign up with Ella's Kitchen then so many per month get a free cool-bag. It might be worth signing up at the start of the month, or at least checking T&C to see if they state when the month starts/ends.
Keep checking the freebies & vouchers thread. Just last week there was a freebie for a bottle of aptamil follow-on milk. Not much use for newborns but useful for 1yrs+
Plus for any baby club you like, don't forget to sign up your OH, cat, dog, mum, dad etc etc0 -
Too late now my dd is 2! Honest, I joined all the things and never got a thing bexcept junk mail (catalogues I had never signed up for) and junk emails. Very disappointed because it was in my maiden name so I knew it was from all these companies.
Just be wary is all I'm saying as to what exactly you are signing up for. Even my midwife agreed that the Bounty packs weren't worth it for the 'aftermath'.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
