Any Ideas Please?

Hi all you lovely moneysavers.......... I'm fairly new here but have been taking careful note of all the interesting and clever ideas... just need to put them into practice now :rotfl:
Anyway, this year I need to reduce my spending on Christmas but still have a lovely time (same as everyone on here then!) I don't have a big family and they're not little any more - I think it was easier when they were tbh! So far I've got a few bits for girls but not much else... I'm thinking of making what I can, being ethical and buying secondhand etc.
Who am I buying/making for?
DS1 and his partner - can do them a 'couples' gift of some sort, maybe a hamper? age 32
DS2 - into model making (japanese manga), art, painting, designer stuff and design
his GF - not difficult but then I find girls easier. I'm making her a box with decoupage and putting gardening things in and a bit of jewellery and arty bits
DD - again, not a problem. Loves secondhand tat (or life's fluff
), vegan so some vegan goodies, jewellery etc
DS3 - no idea
16...... what can you make for a 16yr old? Vegan, no fb/ipod/mobile..... only just discovered clothing that isn't black. Ideas very welcome (pleeeaase)
Apart from the above I'll be buying for my OH, 4 friends so on the face of it not too expensive it's just that right now I need to reduce costs.
I'll carry on having a look around but any ideas welcome and gratefully received

do you sew??? There are lots of ideas in "The Sewing Room" and "sewing room no-chat thread" You could make the girls bags. The arty DS a more grown-up version of a crayon roll for storing his markers in.

Also try pinterest, lots of great ideas, if you have never heard of it - it is a "virtual" pinboard where people link to tutorials and projects that they have found on line.
If you can knit or crochet there are lots of ideas on ravelry and in the old-style board on this forum.
There are lots of ideas in this forum for hampers. And try Flygpigs thread for lots of ideas for stocking filler type pressies.0 -
