Breadmaker recipes and uses please!

:) I have been very inspired with all the baking and cooking you lot do!

I haven't got a slow cooker though I am considering it after spending time on this site! I do have a breadmaker but I am sure I could make more use out of it as currently only use it for making white or brown ordinary loafs of bread. Does anyone have any interesting ideas or recipes that I could try?

Thanks in advance for all your help.:rotfl:

    :o awwww, thanks!

I have to make a white/wholemeal/sandwich loaf every 2nd day so I haven't experimented with too many.

I had my 9yo make a Chocolate loaf - it was wonderful!
D10yo made a divine Date and Walnut loaf.

I want to try banana bread, but I'm going to have to turn sneaky because whenever I buy banana's they get gobbled before I get a chance to make bread. :(

Tip: if your recipe says 1tbsp of butter, dip your spoon into very hot water first, then measure your butter/marg - you should get a nice little knob properly measured then.

My booklet insists that you put the ingredients in by the order the recipe is written - I've learned that I can measure all my dry ingredients into a dish in any order I like (not the yeast!) the wet ingredients go into the bread tin then I pour over the dry ingredients. Finally I sprinkle on the yeast.
