Was it like the luxury hot chocolate S.'s do in their cafe ?. I had one on Friday. It was lovely. Just a normal cup of hot chocolate, but with squirty cream on top along with chocolate sprinkles and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Must have upset someone at HP as they deleted the thread I had started on their community forum. Obviously don't like having their policy quoted back to them.

On the + side, I have sold a broken PS3 on ebay for a good price so now have to post it.

On the - side, Mrs P. got a script from her GP for some replacement !!!!!-needles for her blood sugar monitor. Mr S. had to order them in, so yesterday we called in to pick them up only to discover they were the wrong ones. As she was running low, we had to go to the walk-in centre to get a GP to give her a script for the correct ones.
As we left the walk-in in was ('30 at night and the only pharmacy open in that area was at Asda. They didn't have them either, but did phone the Boots drive-thru just down the road from where we live and they had one box left. So the pharmacist asked them to put it by for us.
As we left Asda, I thanked the pharmacist an told him he was a star.

Mrs P. now has her needles and is happy again.

Glad you got Mrs P's needles sorted in the end Pat, but what a nightmare

Steve and Andy have just left to drive home, and we've had a lovely day with them. They managed to get here in time to pick me up and we went to the car boot, so saw Mr 3Dogs on the stall, and had a look round, but it was very cold  We then called home for a cuppa and they took me to March Tossco, came back home where Mr 3Dogs was already watching footie. Then the boys and I popped round to see Linda who was thrilled to see them. Back to ours for dinner and pud and a few chocolates more for some than for others;), and then they had to go home. So pleased they had the time to visit and we had a fantastic time with them:j :j

Oh, and we had a lovely long chat with Kit on speaker phone and anpther one later when Mr 3Dogs was there too - boy can she talk, but you know that already ;)

At Tossco, I got 10 bottles of wine, 3 free bottles of cider with coupons, 3 bottles of beer on 3 for £4 offer for Mr 3Dogs to have when watching footie match, several cough cough bars of C*dburys DairyMilk 120g bars originally £1.39, labelled at 93p but going through at 34p ;), 5 x 1 litre bottles of C0mfort Pure at £1 each less 75p coupon on each and then less £1 coupon from Tossco Price Dr0p leaflet so 5 for 25p, 44 that's 22 for Steve/Andy and 22 for us tubes of Sw!zzles Giant Wine Gummies at 35p each or 11 for £1 don't ask, that's Tossco logic for you the boys got 2 packs of mince pies and a large Chistmas Pud for £2.97 less £1 Pr!ce Drop coupon, I also got a few bits of normal shopping ....... oh, and a new phone for the house for £22

Sub-Total £134+, after multibuys £79+, less Andy's staff discount £7.90, less £10 from £5 clubcard points doubled up on home phone, less £5 gift card from Sun Perks used towards new phone, less coupons, meant £44.33 cash to pay :D:D

The wine deal which I mentioned the other day meant that I got 6 bottles of £6.79 red wine, £3 bottles of £6.49 red wine, both these on 'buy 3 for £12 and 1 bottle of £3.29 white wine. The wine discounts were £24.21 for the 3 for £12 offers and £15.88 for 25% off the original price so the 10 bottles cost me £23.41

I love Mr T :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
