    Hi all

    Hope all are well
Belated Birthday wishes to Susan and Aesop

Am trying to put some normality back in my life by posting, hope it will take my mind off the nasties for just a little while. Feel like a numb jelly type thing with a big lump where my heart should be and a coil of knotted rope in my tummy.

We too have gone down the non-religious route, had the Celebrant round the other day to organise things, she is a lovely lady and wanted a picture of Nick by her whilst we spoke about him, was nice to tell her how lovely he was with our Son and Daughter at my side.

    Our songs are:-
When I need you Leo Sayer (first dance at our Wedding)
Isn't she lovely Stevie Wonder (dedicated to our Daughter)
Beautiful Boy John Lennon (dedicated to our Son)
Dom is hoping to speak about his Dad after this one.
I'm forever blowing Bubbles to leave by (to show respect for the other love of his life West Ham!) We have bought bubbles for people to blow outside.
Then off to the last pub he ever got tiddley in for Beer and a Barbeque!
Nick was never a Village Hall and cucumber sandwiches type of guy!

Is on Weds 25th @ 1.00pm, was going to be Monday but Dom has his driving test on Tues and wants to tell his Dad if he passes! Poignant for him as Nick wrote him an undated cheque for £1000 a few weeks ago to go towards his first car but he was not allowed to have it till he passed!

    Take care all
    ML
'Neither a lender nor a borrower be'
Now why didn't I take any notice of the
    second part of that quote!!???

Awww ML that is so lovely and the songs seem a perfect tribute:A

I will light a candle in the mse group for your Nick and hope that, although next week will be sad, it will also be a celebration of his life.

Glad to hear 3Dogs is being well looked after on her hold, I am sure it will do her good. Thank you Aesop for your updates.

Mandy, I think your song choices are lovely and if they hadn't brought a tear to my eye your sons wanting to tell his Dad he had passed certainly did. I will have my fingers crossed for him on tuesday and I hope Wednesday goes as well as possible with the service, bubbles and barbie.

The more I hear about them the more I am liking the sound of non religious services
