Hopefully once Alan gets rehydrated and the meds get sorted out he'll be able to get home soon.

In the meantime, please try to get some rest, you must be exhausted.

sorry been working last couple of days so no idea what's been going on but i agree certainly does sound like a uti is a possibility

dare i say i am glad he has been admitted, i think it will give him chance to get his symptoms under control and pain relief sorted , also i think you need a rest, make sure you take some time out to go and get some sleep

I've just found this thread from a link in the Elite one. I've followed you & Mr 3Dogs for a number of months but it's only recently I've signed up and can post. You have been an inspiration in how you both have acted & reacted to your situation. I hope by now Mr 3Dogs is resting and the doctors are working their magic to make him more comfortable. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

On my mobile but here goes .....

Ambulance came about 8.30 and we got Alan away at 9. Busy tonight on MAU but got Alan on drip at 1am but now put him on heart monitor as potassium levels quite high. Waiting for Registrar tio see about med for that via canula. Alan is sleeping now but keeps trying to get out of bed to [STRIKE]lrave[/STRIKE] escape

I am kner-ackered but nurse brought me a sarnie

3Dogs - you are in my thoughts. I know it is the last thing on your mind, but I hope you manage to get some rest now Alan is in hospital and you are not his only carer. You need to be as well as you can to continue to look after him.
