i'll take my turn definately! :D

Absolute nightmare Aesop. I would say I don't know how you cope but unfortunately I do know - kind of like this :p:(:);):o:cry::lipsrseal:undecided:huh::kisses3::shhh::doh:_pale_:wall::whistle::think: uhuh... a day in the life of a mum.

3Dogs I didn't understand your post about the ESA, not your fault, just I don't have any knowledge of it all. And Mr 3Dogs' DRO, fabulous! Is your year just about over now?

Alfie is gorgeous! He was like a whirlwind when he came in, total culture shock for him and the kids, however calm they tried to be, just signalled FUN!! But since 7 he's been adorable, He comes to both DH and I, napped on both our knees and if I sit next to DH he jumps up and sits in the middle... uhoh! lol Just pleased his tail seems to be wagging nonstop , he's not fretting etc I have been introducing him to his crate and is not scred of it but we put him in when we had tea and he howled! It was heart breaking. It will be a rough night but I know if I go down to him I will just prolong the anony for further nights. He does not know how to go for walkies, he's all over the place and don't ask about the pooh and 2 wees he had indoors  I'm happy, he seems an absolute dream and looks like he loves us already! :D

Hiya Froogs sounds like your enjoying the new member to your houshold... You'll have to put some pampers on him...:rotfl:

He will soon settle down & :rotfl: when he comes between you & DH.. :D

One of my former workmates used to wander around the trolley bays and carpark looking for till receipts whilst his partner was shopping. He used to get £2-£300 pounds worth of points every year.

we do this at Ts and As£a to get the A2da price guarantee and the T2sco the difference, and also any uncollected points at T and S.

I do this, but you have to careful nowadays. They actually say if they find people adding points regularly using receipts they will stop the card and retain any points on it.

so I do high value ones a few times a month. I have a favourite SA at S who does it for me, she knows I did not buy vodka, nor did DH as I sometimes claim but wombled the receipt.

But think they have sussed money is tight, so turns a blind eye.

to be honest my local S have turned out to be good uns. one SA lent me 3p when I was short to buy a loaf of bread, I had to wait ages before I saw him again to repay him, my favourite turns a blind eye to me wombling nect*r receipts and till spits from bins and the floor.

the supervisor once let me have something for free as i messed up with a voucher.

lady tonight reduced something further for me even though she shouldn't have.

Alfie sounds absolutely gorgeous! I would love a dog but no time for one. I don't agree with having a dog and being out all day, and leaving them alone. You don't do it with children.

Oh Froogs, glad he is settling and has been on your laps. As for the weeing/pooing and sitting between you and OH, when we took Billy in off the streets, he wee'd in the house and, as other 2 sleep in out bedroom/on our bed, I thought that if I settle him in our bed, I will know if he needs to wee during the night so I put him on the bed between me and Mr 3Dogs. He curled up, went to sleep and stayed there all night. In fact he has been there ever since - that is his place ...... normally under the covers :o and normally with his head inbetween our pillows, or with his head on my pillow   They do learn quickly :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just be carefull what you allow him to do, as once you allow it, you can't change your mind later and tell him off for doing it. As for the howling .............. and I don't think you will be doing what I did with Billy ................ did they advise you about this? Certainly, if you go down to him, he will expect it all the time. With his crate, it is good to encourage him to go in and out of it during the day, sometimes locking him in it when you are there doing something else, just so he knows it is ok and you aren't always going to leave him alone in there

No, I am sure you would be OK with DS's points but stories exist of someone adding points to their loyalty card to find that the shopping was paid for with a stolen credit card ...... they had some explaining to do to the police

no, Beanie, just you have to be careful with wombled receipts like I do. Like yesterday picked up receipt for polish vokda, 24 points, I don't buy it and they will see that from my spending habits.

Would DS carry a keyfob and use it? if so, he can get one linked to your account, and just use it whenever shopping. saves you adding receipts.
