Is his mate not going in at all to check up on the dogs or the owner phoning you to ask or tell you when he maybe due back home?

That's the problem Steve, we don't know what, if any, arrangements have been made and don't have a contact no for neighbour or else I would have been on the phone to him last night blasting him

    Other news for 2012:

My sister went to see Mam tonight to see her lying in the dark, confused. She went straight up to the tv lounge where the carers were all sitting waiting of food trolley coming, and asked why they hadn't put light on for her and told them to get a soft sheet for Mam as she's been lying there for days with a woolly blanket next to her skin instead of a sheet and she is scratching at her arms. Carers hate her today ...... but really is mutual

    Other news for 2012:

Sister just heard that bank is not going to lend money to firm she works for after stringing them along for a few months, so that will be the end ............. redundant on 3rd Feb ........... and all because the boss wouldn't stop spending company money on himself, and family, when they couldn't even pay the wages

Oh, by the way, Alan's back still bad today but he's been resting so bit better - forgot to ring docs for telephone appointment with everything else going on, but will have to ring tomorrow

Had to go into town, when I really didn't want to go out today, to pick up morph tablets and milk for Linda as she was expecting meds to be delivered today but when she rang docs was told it woul dbe next week so they had to do another sscript for her, for me to colelct as she was out of them from this morning

    2012 ............ nice one mate :(:(:(:(:(

this really seems like neglect over the way the neighbour has left his two dogs, the problem would be tho if he was reported that the dogs would be taken away and put to rest, esp Bruce as the experience of being taken from his home environment would be way too stressful. its a very hard situation. poor you for being stuck in the middle.

With regards your mam, the treatment from these so called 'carers' is terrible, i thought that the rules and regs for the treatment in care homes had completely changed, obviously not. good job your sister went in when she did.

Sorry u had to go out for the meds, esp as weather so bad.

Also feeling sorry for Alan and his back being so bad, have u spoken to the doc again and do you want me to go to the 99p store for u? hugs to you both.

2012 can certainly do better thann it is so far

Beanie - my Sis does book-keeping/accounts, along with general admin - she'd in the music recording industry, but turned 60 in November so not looking good for further employment

Forgot to say, we have one neighbour 82 year old man in hospital for last couple of months, the lady facing us taken into hospital on New Year's Day with breathing problems, and the lady half way between me and Linda came home from spending Christmas/New Year at her daughter's near Darlington with a bad back

Sorry to say we are now an 'industry' not a vocation any more, and it's the 'service user's ' that are sufering, only thing to do is keep reporting to regional authoritie's

And that's a horrible thing to do to the dog's, pity he can't be locked in a cage and forgot about for day's at a time:mad:
