How to make blanket using Pom Poms

Just wondering if anyone can help me I have made loads (15) of the Rico Pompon baby blankets like this one (Ebay No. 270831114358) but wondering how these ones are made (Ebay No. 140614458952) anyone know ? looks to be a lot more work involved !

Hi Cherydee, these types are made on a butterfly loom, I bought one before I could crochet, as this was the nearest thing to crochet without actually doing it! I have'nt tried this style yet, but Its just a case of cutting in the right place.They are easy to make up but look like a lot of work has gone into them. Here are some links:

That definately looks like hard work.....think I'll stick with 2 knitting needles !! The baby blankets do look great though ! Thanks for all your links.

Thanks for the links ebaybaby, I'm tempted to try the butterfly looms now. Hoping they'll be easier on my hands than knitting!

cherydee, the blankets look lovely. I want to make a large throw like that now, but in purple!
