Fantastic, thank you!I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum?0 -
That second site (Victoria & Albert) takes you straight to a 1950's dress pattern. Change the material to white & a very nice wedding dress would emerge.

Thanks for this - some great patterns there.
I use this one a lot for basic kids trousers - perfect for playgroup or pj bottoms:

Also includes a tutorial which helped me a LOT (being a very basic sewer!) Hope that helps someone:money:DD born March 07:DDS born July 09:pTrying to be a budget-friendly SAHM

A word of caution for beginners with Burda Style patterns. The instructions are almost always a little bit vague, and sometimes miss things out. I'd say I'm a confident beginner/intermediate sewer, but I sometimes get very frustrated with some of the patterns in the magazine which often end up online.
Having said that, they are gorgeous modern designs, and the free patterns are often from other posters.
(The BurdaStyle magazine patterns are quite cheap, but larger WHSmith stock the magazine itself for £4.50ish. Might seem a lot, but there's upwards of 20 patterns in each).
I'll maybe check out those other sites when I get through my ever increasing pile of current projects...0
