As to prices in general it could be that a retailer ups a price to a silly figure where nobody buys it, but can then reduce it by 70% even though the reduced figure is around what it should be anyway

I think that a lot too, I feel that the 'sale' price on some things can be the actual price it's sold for somewhere else and they would normally overcharge much of the time. I bet loads of shops pull that trick with the 'was' and 'now' prices, especially when they put in the small print that the 'was' price was charged at a specific store at a specific time (e.g. centre of London and when the product was first launched).
I think they get away with it loads on lower priced items where people generally wouldn't worry about checking whether the 'was' price is really that truthful.

    What a good site.

Only problem I see, 3rd party prices tracked do not include p&p, so misleading at times.

Amazon prices (not 3rd party prices) can seem to change daily on some items!
Check on the camel site and wait for current the Amazon price to drop to at least the lowest price it has been - may be some weeks or months - how long you can hold out?

I've seen them change immediately after I've purchased the item.

If you have Palemoon or Firefox, you can get the booly add on, type a site in google, then at the top should be a list of coupon codes for that site if any

    http://www.palemoon.org/

Don't think it works with bookmarked sites and going to a site from one
