What on earth do I do with this stuff???

Hi all

I'm looking for advice!!! I'm just back from Mr T's and I got some bargain fish: 4 whole sea bass, 2 whole rainbow trout and a bag of sardines, all for £5.70. I think this is probably good value but I need to use it up by tomorrow or freeze it. The trout and sea bass are gutted I think, but still have head and tails on. Is it ok to freeze this way? Do you need to gut sardines before freezing/cooking? I'm terrible at cooking, so any advice would be welcome!

You can freeze it any way u like, or take the head and tail off first if it will make it more appealling in the future......what I mean is, if u freeze it whole u might not want to thaw it if you have all the hard work to do, so I would get it prepared and then freeze it.
    Either way its good value.
  • Another time, you could always ask the advice of the fishmonger on the counter xx

    This

If i were you i would prepare them ready to be cooked, so you do all the hard work now, then freeze what you aren't going to use now. That is a very good haul!

Make a fish pie! We had a few different types of fish in the freezer and wanted to use them up. We made a fish pie with mashed potato.. was lovely! :)
