£50.50 via Topcashback for a successful application for a Post Office Credit card. :j
I know there is a separate thread about this, but the other thread was started a few months ago and the offer was later reduced to £35, so I suspect the only people likely to be reading the old thread are those who applied last time round - I thought people might not realise the offer is on again now, so am starting a new thread for anyone who missed out last time.

Better read this thread first:

A lot of unhappy people (including me) complaining that Topcashback haven't paid up for Post Office Credit Card applications.
I won't be using them again, for sure.0 -
The same offer (well, £50 cashback) is available from Quidco too.
It's only a game

I can only comment on my own experience. I applied last time this offer was on - my cashback is showing as confirmed and I have no reason to think there's a problem. I was just trying to help anyone who missed out last time.0 -
Just thought I would let you know that I applied last time through TCB, the card is great and the £50 is in my bank - very pleased indeed!!MFW 2012 #70- 1996.98/100000

Just to check....if I got the credit card then "hid it" for say a year there would be no down side or fees right?Sorry new to credit cards but would help my credit rating without going into details...0

LittleRussianDoll, to help your credit rating you would be better to use the card. Use it to pay for some of your normal spending each month and make sure it's paid off in full every month (set up a dircet debit to paythe balance). It costs you nothing in interest (because you are paying it off) and will have a positive effect on your credit rating. As long as you are strict and only spend on it what you would normally buy it should cost you nothing extra over the year.
The only thing it could affect is if you were to apply for a loan or mortgage for instance. The bank would see that you have all the available credit on this card and may offer you a different % rate, or a lower loan amount or no loan at all if it sees you as having too much available credit already. If you are not intending to get a loan then it should all be ok.

On 16/10/11 I applied via Topcashback for and have since received the Post Office credit card.
The transaction has tracked at £0.00 and I have duly submitted an enquiry to Topcashback who have forwarded it to the retailer.
Looking through the reviews on the Post Office TCB page quite a few people have had to submit an enquiry but have been payed eventually.
I have my fingers crossed.:)0
