THe DFW's have a money for nothing thread with loads of ideas. It's not for everyone but matched betting can be quite lucrative.

  • I've seen this Matched betting thing and I'm not sure of it, some have given possitive feedback and fantastic money out of it. Just like share dealing, I find it a bit overwhealming, I think you really need to be on top of it. The Budgeting / Saving and OS sections of the site seem more safe.

Yes you really need to understand it - I believe someone has been doing dry runs for several months before launching into it.

People at work / clients / Ebay they are very envogue at the moment.

Someone made me a gorgeous blue baby blanket when I had my first child, I always got comments from people when I went out with it on the pushchair.
I used it for baby no 2 as well and again got comments all the time from people saying how nice it was.

ruthie, I'm an allocator for a mystery shopping company. I can give you a few contacts. You won't get rich on it but can get a few extra things and freebies. Interested? PM me! ;)

I work two days a week, which basically pays the bills etc. I went part-time, because I'm studying for the next couple of years. I'd like to top up my basic income with some other bits of earnings. I don't really have stuff to sell on ebay, and I already make and sell greetings cards at work. Has anyone got any ideas for ways of making bits and pieces of extra money that are flexible enough to fit round other commitments?

I'm a catalogue agent that I can do whenever I like or feel like it, made 500 quid in November for about 8 hours per week. If this appeals, pm me.
