I have seen a punch up around the reduced bit in the local Tesco. And lots of pushing and shoving and swearing. Interestingly, there is less of a shoving frenzy around the reduced vegetables and reduced meat...the latter of which is more of a value purchase (in my mind) than reduced readimeals.
It IS getting more and more expensive to cook and bake well at home and I look at some of those ready meals (when I find myself in that strange isle) and do sometimes see stuff for which the ingrediants in the shop would cost more than the packet meal. But the result is usually better, and more enjoyable, and healthier. Its what we opt for, and I'm grateful we can!0
