Christmas day treasure hunt ideas

Hi since my kids were about 4 and 2 i have done treasure hunts for them every year at christmas. As the years have gone on (they are now 17 & 15) this has expanded to my nieces and nephew and it is now expected when everyone comes to tea on Christmas day. The problem is the kids are obviously getting older 17, 15, 13,11,8 and 5 so i am struggling for something which would involve all. Last year i did it a bit differently by leavign a letter with each clue and they had to put the letters together to find out where the treasure was (small pressies for all). I think i am going tohave to rule out my kids this year but still struggling for the teenagers... The younger ones love it so i want to keep it up

Any ideas???

Do you mean you are struggling for pressie ideas that would suit age range of 5 - 17? Or do you mean you are struggling how to organise the treasure hunt this year?

If it's the 1st I'd go with toiletries (mini shower gel/bubble bath), stationery and chocs/sweets. That should suit all age groups.

If it's the latter, you could do a round your street/ village treasure hunt, just answering questions based on your area eg what's the collection times of post box in x street? The older ones could supervise the little ones and they all get to join in.

When me and my sister were in our early teens my Mum did a Xmas A-Z for us. We each had 26 presents relating to each letter of the alphabet, we had some pretty obscure presents but it was really good x
