Groupon deal for Bella Unisex Salon Belfast

I just used a Groupon voucher I had purchased for Bella Unisex Salon on Ravenhill Road, Belfast.
It was for:
Hair wash, cut and restyle
Traditional hot towel shave
I got the shave and the haircut, but when I asked about the wash I was informed that because he had wrapped my head in the towel it counted as a hot towel wash!!!!
Not terribly impressed as the wash was listed separately from the hot towel shave and definitely a different component of the deal. But as he had finished and put gel in the hair, I couldn't get a wash then. What should I do? Should I complain to Groupon or to the firm?

Wouldnt you think rather than recieve bad feedback they would have given you it, really how much more effort would it have been.
Dip your head over a sink bit o water hey presto a wash.0 -
surely you realised you had missed the hair wash part when they began cutting your hair?
that would have been a better time to question it.
Anyhow, complain to the hairdressers, they did not honour the wash & cut,a hot towel shave had nothing to do with it0 -

did you complain to groupon? I am wary of the hairdressers on groupon, as i have found with any decent hairdresser i have gone to you they are usually booked up weeks in advance!0 -

I am wary of all sites like Groupon. Who pays for all the discounts or is there a reason for them?[STRIKE]Less is more.[/STRIKE] No less is Less.0 -
I got 3 driving lessons for £27 a while back. The guy that took me tried to tell me that he only made £9 out of the deal with Groupon. That means that he was effectively charging me £3 per one hour lesson. I don't see this being correct, does anyone else !?0

perhaps that was his profit after his costs were covered?
I was tempted by today's deal on group for ed's bar & grill in lisburn, but read the small print and its a special menu with none of the stuff i would normally go there to eat, so not much of a saving!0 -
I try to avoid all these offers now, at the beginning there was some great ones but now there are so many different schemes with some offers that look good but in reality they aren't places you've ever heard off or would consider trying. The cost to the advertiser is high, I know someone who offered a deal on gumtree deals, her normal rate is £30 offered at half price, so £15 and Gumtree take 1/2 of that so the service that she normally receives £30 for she is now only getting £7.50. Treaticket are similar, I know of another person selling a service that is normally £90 for £40, they took £20 of that so again she was working for far far less. I wonder when we will reach saturation point with all these deals..0

Yes but think of the advertising these retailers are getting. I have bought many deals from retailers i have never tried before and been so impressed I have returned again and again. This is how retailer benefits.0
