Didn't work for me with pasta. I have to go back to Tesco later to return something, might try it with noodles.

    Thanks anyway :)

well As for calling us Scrubbers, all I can say is they obv have a serious case of the green eyed monster as they dont have the guts to try these deals out and would rather carry on paying full price, you know not only do we get bargains but we also have a great network of ppl on here that are genuine ppl that like to help others out when paychecks are not stretching as far as they once did. I am proud to be a "friend of Martins" AND ppl on this board.

Indeed. People are always so quick to judge and express dissaproval at other people but when it comes down to it if they were in a shop and knew something was incredibly cheap and it was something they liked, or knew friends would like, they would probably buy it. Maybe 100 odd is quite a lot but as long as they have a use for them and they're not gonna end up in the bin then why not buy them. And everyone has those friends that you just get a box of chocolates or something small for christmas so the money people have saved getting these chocolate oranges is gonna be huge. They are clearly just jealous that they missed out. I also missed out on this one but good on the people who didn't.:T
  • I agree Krackingtoast :) I love a wee bargain!

Funny you mention the pantene, picked up a few more for Swmbo this morning and the lady at the till scanned the first one and said I can't sell you those as it's an error - I just walked away and left her and found a manager in a suit and explained to him - he quickly had a word with her but that's one S.A that I will need to avoid for a little while. :D

The savoury rice might work as well, it was also on 4 for £2.00, didn't buy any so can't be sure.

Tried with the savoury rice, can confirm it's NOT working!icon9.gif
