Anyone got a good rabbit recipe?

Not sure if it's the right section but my OH has come back from the butcher with a rabbit - eek - I've never had it before so am looking for some inspiring ways to cook it - if there are any!

easiest way is just to make it into a stew like you would with a piece of beef/lamb or similar. Have a look at some of the recipes at

- particularly any of the "maltese rabbit stew" recipes ( where it is a bit of a local speciality )

you'd probably have been better to post your thread in the Old Style Moneysaving board where there are lots of recipes, hints and tips. Just do a search for rabbit and I'm sure you'll find a recipe there
