Quidco cashback question re: AA

I'm looking to renew my AA policy next month and have a renewal notice from them. I have another family member on that policy. If I go through Quidco I can get £50 cashback for the exact same policy. I can't renew online and get the cashback as it's for new customers. If the person on my policy applies as a new customer with me as their named other driver will that qualify OK? They have a quidco account so can easily be done.

I would be very very wary about cashback from AA via Quidco. I am still waiting almost a year later for cashback due to me from them, I was due either £50 or £60 but was only paid £19. Was supposed to track at lower rate then be paid the correct amount. Have had a claim raised since April 1st. Contacted Quidco guy on here and then emaild them last week. Same bog standard reply that they are taking it very seriously blah blah blah.Numerous posts and threads about AA and quidco cashback so don't renem policy just for cashback. I have told them I am not renewing and will be looking elsewhere for cover when VW cover on my new car runs out.I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0

Another problem with Quidco AA cashback here. They declined my £50 cashback even though I did everything I was supposed to including clearing my cache before clicking through. Raised a claim, still waiting 6 months later. I really wouldn't let AA cashback sway your decision to be honest0
