Thanks, managed to pick up a copy this morning, it wasn't on a separate display just mixed in with the other books though.

Just been to my local store, nothing on the shelves but went to the counter and was told that there are twenty in stock. The young lad went to try and find them and came back with some vague and non-credible story that he'd spoken to a supervisor and there "isn't any stock available and they are launching some new books on Monday, and to ask again then"

EDIT: tried again Monday as suggested, but no joy even though their computer system still shows 20 in stock. Apparently someone is off sick so they can't put the books on the shelves!? because it's an outside company that deals with the in store books at Tesco, and there's no way they could possibly ensure that there is cover for the person off sick, or have Tesco staff sort it out instead. Utterly rubbish, and barely believable that a Tesco store could be in this situation.

Just had an email saying mine has been dispatched, estimated delivery date is 17th October. :cool:

Yep mine dispatched too - thanks OP.
Will make nice extra gift for son and as its new I know he won't have it!! Have doubled up before now.

no dispatch e-mail for me tho.... strange.

when i look at my orders the left hand side says it's been dispatched the right says still to be dispatched.
