Winners will spend August 24th – 27th 2012 enjoying an essential introduction to viewing wildlife with the expert guides at Woodlore, Ray Mears’ bush craft school in East Sussex.

The Family Wildlife Walkabout course is a camping, self-catering weekend which will take place at a safari style camp, situated in beautiful private woodland with no public access with lots of wildlife including deer, owls, badgers, foxes and butterflies.

You will learn how to move silently through the woods in both night and day, recognise feeding signs and footprints of various animals, find animal homes and - most importantly - have fun and build special family memories whilst doing it.

The winner will also receive £1,000.

Please note:

* Winners are responsible for organizing and paying for their own travel, basic camping and cooking kit and food for self-catering. £1,000 spending money and kit/course requirements will be supplied well in advance of course date.

* Winners must include at least one child in the four people attending the course. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. This course is not suitable for children under 8.

* Ray Mears will not attend the course.
