Hello, can I join please?
I will aim for £8000.
I should be starting 2012 debt free (apart from the mortgage) and want to start saving towards reducing mortgage, Little Miss Gap's birthday, a couple of small holidays along the way and next Christmas.
Gap xMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
Mortgage today = £161,690.76
300 271 payments to go.House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000

I agree with you on your points about saving money and not being materialistic. Every now and then a splurge since life is to be enjoyed, as you say - good stuff.
Tightwad Gazette - will check it out - thanks!
Oh, I must check out the free books you can get on the Kindle. I tried one in a shop and found page turning to be a tad slow - plus I don't have much time for novels. My main reads are technical books for work (snooze!!) so probably not suited to that. But I'll check the free books you can get for it.
You can download the kindle app onto your computer or phone to read free books off that or buy them if you wanted to, might save you a few bob!Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

(it's the nearest that I could find to a horned devil...)Living for tomorrow might mean that you survive the day after.
It is always different this time. The only thing that is the same is the outcome.
Portfolios are like personalities - one that is balanced is usually preferable.

Hi guys!
Can i join please?
Put me down for the whole hog please, we're going to save for a deposit for a house. That will nearly cover it!
To be honest though i think i'll manage 8 or 9k but i'll give it a good go!
I found a house i desperately like but it'll probably be sold before we save enough money
good luck everyone0 -
