Well im declaring:-
Jan = £500
Feb = £500
Hoping March may be a little more fingers crossed. Id be happy if we could keep it at £500 every month though. We have alot of events coming up so even managing to save £500 each month is great. Just paid our holiday to center parcs today and a golf trip for hubbie also. I did overtime as did hubbie to pay for these luxuries so its nice to be able to treat ourselves.
Got a few nights out each coming up as well.
Happy savings everyoneMortgage deposit target April £9000

March 1st, another £600 added to the pot, likely to be all I can add this month due to Birthdays etc...0

Well done everyone for their savings totals this month. :T
I've managed to £1,765 this month, pleased with that as every little helps with a wedding coming up later this year and a honeymoon to pay for!!
Think that makes my total £3,419 for 2012 to date, as saved £1,654 in January. Hopefully over the next few months I can save a bit more and get that up towards £2k potentially (though that may be pushing it). Bonus gets paid in March pay packet so hopefully can beat the £2k next month at least, touch wood!
Will update the spreadsheet now!0 -
Had a good month in February. I managed to save £1033.90 due to tax rebate and an ebay sale. I think it really helped that I swept £1000 over to savings account at the start of the month and was determined to manage on the rest. It's going to be harder from here on as I've now had my last pay packet and will be managing on my occupational pension and a bit of self-employed work.
I've swept over £476 to savings account today which I'm targeting as my march base saving amount and hopefully will have some more to add to it towards month end.0 -
Hi Everyone,

Number 55 - saved an impressive £1.7K in Feb... total did include nearly £200 interest and nearly 2 wks wages paid late and relating to Jan , so I doubt I will get anywhere near that total for a month again!0
