If a credit reference agency does not correct information held on file within a reasonable length of time what other options and sanctions are available to me?

Fairly straightforward really - it's call credit. They are showing an old mortgage as a delinquent balance when it was completely satisfied and was merely a transfer to a new lender. Equifax and Experian are showing correct information and always have done so I was quite surprised to find this. I wrote to call credit about this in early November and still they have done nothing about it0
