DMP review - scared!!

i have a dmp with CCCS and need to have a review as my income has dropped - my concern is that i have a small overdraft - yes i know i should n't have one but i need it for work as they don't advance funds and i can be as much as £500 out of pocket each month due to travel expenditure and i live on such a small sum i need this flexibility - do you need to send in your bank statements. Will they know??

am so worried i am going to be chucked off the plan!

    Hi Lola,
I think as long as you can evidence this is a necessity I can't see them having a problem with it,
they understand that people's circumstances change.
If you told them that you had an overdraft because you REALLLLLLY wanted a new dress from Karen Millen, I doubt they'd be so understanding

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • thanks for your reply - do CCCS require a copy of your bank statement for a review - i guess i could get a letter from my work to confirm expenditure??

I haven't dealt with them personally, I'm sure some one else on here will be along soon who knows the answer to this one.
Try not to worry about the 'what if's and maybes.
You know that this is justified and you can't do your job without it

cccs have been fantastic with me and realise that everyone's situation is different. I was allowed to keep my asda store card as I do online shopping and by paying with my asda card I save myself £24 a month on delivery charges, that's £24 extra to throw at my debts. All I had to do is pay off what I put on my card every week, so it pretty much always shows a nill balance.

CCCS are flexible and please please don't be scared to talk to them or ask for advice.
