Stupid question about house deeds.

I recently managed to pay off the mortgage. Got a letter off the Land Registry confirming it has been paid off and saying I can download or write for a copy of the Title Register. Is this the same as property deeds? Sorry to sound a bit of a numpty

effectively yes
nowaday the actual deeds are not necessary although for an old house, may be of personal or historical interest
all that's necessary is the land registry copy.0
