Pre Owned Bridal Wear

Hi, Im currently in the process of looking into setting up a shop selling Pre owned bridalwear bridesmaid dresses etc..
similar to Ebay but with the advantage of being able to see the items and try them on!
I will also be offering the service to buy your dresses

Just looking for some feedback positive or negative as to what brides to be think and would you use this kind of shop

Many thanks

  • I think that would be BRILLIANT!! As long as the prices were realistic - can you bring one to Surrey please :)

Would be a very good idea I think.
    :T
  • Very good idea! Would be even better if you got a seamstress on side to refer any alteration work to.

I think it would be great and I would much prefer to go to a shop and see the items for myself. It would certainly take the anxiety out of internet shopping. :)

A woman brought a 5 diamond ring, in platinum, to David Dickinson's real deal yesterday. She wanted (and got) a £1000 for it, to buy a wedding dress!
What a waste! She should have kept the ring and bought a second hand dress!

    Good luck op!
  • thats my thoughrs exactly and these dresses have only been worn once for a few hrs and are practically new.

Its a good idea if you live in a big town or city but we had one in our small town that got alot of ladies taking their dresses in but hardly any buying so it closed after a couple of years
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p
