Hi again
Well in addition to my previous post have just checked out my barclaycard statement which came today and ok i did spend on it before xmas (it is now cut up!!!) it appears that barclaycard are charging me 2.075% on cash balance???? which is £21.26 and 1.527% on my standard balance which is £40.20, equalling £61.46 in interest i have paid this month. As i mentioned in my previous post i have been paying off £130 a month, seems like half of it has gone on interest!! My balance as it stands is £3604, not taking into account the £130 i gave them today! Does anyone know of any lenders who will give a student a credit card?
Any advice appreciated

Hi Shell.

You might get a more knowledgable (sp) response on the credit card board or have a look at moneysupermarket.com

Could you speak to your current account provider and see what they can do? If you have an existing relationship with a bank they can often help with this sort of thing. It sounds potentially like you could do with a long term loan.Indecision is the key to flexibility
