gamecube controller for Wii

Don't know where this goes on boards. People may already know this. Bought Nintendo Wii for son and intended to buy the Classic controller for hime to play with Gamecube games. Discovered that I saved myself £15 as Gamecube controller fits and able to play gamecube Games. Does anyone know if the Gamecube memory card will fit as well?

Yes, there is another flap behind the controller flap. Open that and two slots for Gamecube memory cards. You can only save GC save games to it though.
