Living North are delighted to have teamed up
with BoConcept to offer one lucky reader the
chance to win a stunning item from the recently
launched 2012 BoConcept collection. The stunning,
adjustable Occa table is available in a choice of
finishes and is valued at £1,195!
The two skilled Danish craftsmen who founded BoConcept back in 1952
shared one goal – to produce great quality furniture that looked good, as
well as to make it functional and offer value for money.
All these values still hold true today and the newly launched 2012
BoConcept collection, available now in Fenwick, Newcastle, celebrates this
heritage by revisiting the year 1952. Capturing the Fifties’ spirit in some
of the designs, BoConcept’s team of designers have used new production
methods, materials and colour to create a range of furniture with a retro
feel but designed for today’s urban living. This means creating furniture that
can fit in spaces large or small, as Richard Wingfield, director of BoConcept
Newcastle explained: “The key is to think multi-purpose designs which
allow you work, sleep and dine in the same space effortlessly, if need be.
That’s what BoConcept is all about and the 2012 collection reflects this
ethos with some great new designs and some fresh takes on original fifties’
    ones.
The range is impressive. Functional tables that offer storage solutions or
can fold out to offer clever surface space as well as stylish dining chairs that
can fold away, plus mobile cabinets which perform more than one function
all feature. Nearly every piece of BoConcept furniture is multi-functional,
which is one of the reasons it’s such good value for money. Beds that tilt
and offer storage in the bed and not under it, sofas that are modular so they
can fit in any space, dining tables that are adjustable in height, not just in
size – the list is endless,” continued Richard.
Another thing Richard is keen to point out is the interior design service
offered in store. He said: “It’s not always easy to see how the furniture will
work in your home so we will assist you all the way. Our design consultants
and interior decorators at the BoConcept store offer you a dedicated and
professional free service – you can even book a home visit so our interior
designer can get a hands on opportunity to help you create a functional
space that works and looks great too.”
The company also has an online design tool, Home Creator, which enables
the customer to customize the furniture to their specific needs or create a
floor plan of a room to see how it will all fit. There are also clever QR codes
in the catalogue that help to bring the furniture the life via a smartphone.
Richard added: “BoConcept being urban-minded means lots of energy,
modernity as well as a great love for design and trends. Urban life across
the globe inspires to work with limited space, to let good design and
functionality go hand-in-hand, so we give our customers an incredible array
of opportunities to interact and discover our designs so they find something
perfect for them and that fits with their way of living.”
For your chance to win this fantastic prize simply send your details on
a postcard to Living North Studio 2, St Nicholas Chare, Newcastle
NE1 1JR or email competitions@livingnorth.com. Please mark all
your entries BO Concept. All entries must be received by Friday 4th
    November 2011.
To see the more of the new BoConcept 2012 collection and pick up
a catalogue, visit the company’s concession on the second floor of
