IVA do i need to pay creditors

Hello,
I am in the early stages of an IVA basically we have sent the details off and we were told it would be six to eight weeks to finalise they have said we are about 90% on to be be accepted.
The question i have is what do we do with the creditors for october payments.
We have all the bills comming out on the 1st oct. Do we pay as much as we can to them or call them and tell them we are entering into an IVA and only pay a bit of the bills.
I am worried if we do that about charges? can someone please offer advice?
